In this new series we look at characters from the very first Christmas. Many of which easily could have been viewed as misfits if it wasn't for their decision to trust God with their outcome. This week we look at the life of Mary. A young girl who was given a huge opportunity. She had the choice of accepting God's invitation, or to look at it as an interruption in her life. We apologoize, but there will be no podcast from this past Sunday. We were privileged to have a great couple join us who are currently missionaries in a sensitive country. To protect their mission of bringing the gospel to this unreached country, and to protect their identities we are unable to post our podcast. Check out next week's new series titled, "Misfits".
Join us for the conclusion of our series "Upside Down". In our final week we will see how after everything Jesus taught us during His Sermon on the Mount doesn't matter unless we choose to build our life on the truth He taught us. It's easy for us to build our foundation on all the wrong things, only to see our life fall apart once the storms of life hit us. Listen in to this week's message to know how to build your house on the solid foundation of Jesus!
Join us for this week's message as we continue in our series on the Sermon on the Mount. This week we will hear about what Jesus says about the narrow road to Heaven, and not being decieved by the counterfeit things of this world, only to ultimately miss the path to Heaven.
*Due to technical difficulty, our recording begins 8 minutes into this week's message. Pastor Jason is sharing how much our God loves us and wants the best for us. However, what is our part in this relationship with our Heavenly Father? Listen in to this powerful teaching from the following passage: "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 9Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? 11If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!" (Matthew 7:7-11 ESV)
